Common login issues
Overview: Experiencing issues with logging in can be frustrating, but many common problems can be resolved with a few
simple, manual steps. This article outlines the most frequent login issues and provides a guide on how to troubleshoot
them before escalating to technical support.
1. Forgotten Password
- Issue: You have forgotten your password and cannot log in.
- Manual Solution:
- On the login screen, click the "Forgot Password?" link.
- Enter the email address associated with your Stafio.ai account.
- You will receive a password reset link via email. Click the link and follow the on-screen instructions to create
a new password.
- Troubleshooting Tip: If you don't receive the password reset email, check your spam or junk folder. The email may
have been filtered.
2. Incorrect Email or Password
- Issue: You are certain you are entering the correct password, but the system is not accepting it.
- Manual Solution:
- Double-check the spelling of your email address. A simple typo can prevent a successful login.
- Ensure you are using the most current password.
- If you have recently reset your password, clear your browser's cache and cookies to ensure you are not using a
saved, outdated password.
- If the problem persists, follow the "Forgotten Password" steps to perform a password reset.
3. Account Deactivated or Locked
- Issue: You receive a message that your account has been deactivated, locked, or suspended.
- Manual Solution:
- If your account has been deactivated, it was likely done by an administrator in your organization. You will need
to manually contact them to request reactivation.
- If your account has been locked due to too many failed login attempts, you can wait for a designated period
(e.g., 30 minutes) and try again, or use the "Forgot Password?" function to reset your password.
- If you are an administrator and a user's account is locked, you have the ability to manually reset their
password or reactivate their account.
4. Browser-Related Issues
- Issue: The login page is not loading correctly, or the login button is not working.
- Manual Solution:
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies. Outdated or corrupted data can sometimes interfere with login
functionality.
- Try using a different web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari). If the login is successful in a different
browser, the issue is with your original browser's settings or an extension.

Troubleshooting & Tips:
Issue: I receive an error message that says, "User does not exist."
Suggested Fix: Double-check that you are using the correct email address. If you are certain it is correct, it is
possible your account was deleted. Manually contact your administrator or Stafio.ai support.
Issue: I'm having trouble with my SSO (Single Sign-On) login.
Suggested Fix: Try logging in with your SSO provider directly. If that fails, it may be a configuration issue. Contact
your internal IT department, who will have to manually check the SSO setup.
Issue: I'm stuck in a loop after logging in.
Suggested Fix: This is almost always a cache or cookie issue. Clear your browser's cache and cookies completely and try
again.
