This article will guide you through the manual process of how to effectively report a bug to our technical support team, ensuring we have all the information we need to investigate and fix the problem as quickly as possible.

1. What Is a Bug?

  • A bug is an error, flaw, or fault in the system that causes it to produce an incorrect or unexpected result. This could be anything from a broken feature to a spelling mistake or a display issue.

  • Important: Before reporting a bug, it's a good practice to manually perform the basic troubleshooting steps outlined in our other articles, such as clearing your cache and trying a different browser, to ensure the issue isn't local to your machine.

2. How to Report a Bug

  • The best way to report a bug is to provide our team with as much information as possible. The more detail you provide, the faster we can diagnose and resolve the issue.

  • Steps to Take When You Find a Bug (Manual Process):

    • Stop and Document: As soon as you encounter a bug, stop what you are doing and take a moment to document the issue.

    • Take Screenshots or a Video: Visual evidence is often the most helpful. Take a screenshot or, even better, a short screen recording of the bug in action.

    • Reproduce the Bug: Manually try to reproduce the bug by performing the same steps again. Document the exact sequence of actions that led to the bug. This is a crucial step.

    • Gather Information: Note down all relevant information, including:

      • The exact date and time the bug occurred.

      • The name of the web browser and its version you were using.

      • Your operating system and its version.

      • The URL of the page where the bug occurred.

3. Submitting the Bug Report

  • Once you have all the necessary information, you can submit the bug report through one of our support channels.
